Faculty members and postdocs, no age restriction but a maximum of 8 years (prenatal/postpartum leave, childcare leave is deductible) of Ph.D. graduation as of April 1st, 2026.
No restrictions but affiliated with Kyushu University as of the 2026 academic year.
• Grand Award: 1 person
• Excellence Award: 2 person (will be given in two categories: 1 young researcher and 1 graduate / undergraduate student.)
• Special Award: 2 persons (will be given in two categories: 1 young researcher and 1 graduate / undergraduate student.)
• Audience Award: 1 person
Expense for Research and Further Education will be supported according to the award rank (Grand Award: 100,000 JPY, Excellence Award: 50,000 JPY, Special Award: 30,000 JPY, Audience Award: 20,000 JPY).
